The best thing about our new house…

…is being neighbors to an apartment complex called Candy Arms.

May there never be a day so bad that Candy Arms cannot make us laugh.

We’re in the process of becoming foster parents for DHS…

Most people talk about having kids.

We talk about getting kids.

It seems that the obstacles are being taken out of the way and that within the next few months we might be welcoming some children into our little family.

The thought is both exciting and terrifying.

But as someone reminded me yet again today- God loves His orphans. And He provides ways to take care of them.

We trust Him.  Even as we feel our own weakness, He gives us love…
